2008

I completed this layout last night for a challenge over at Once Upon a Sketch. Their designers and layouts are amazing! The challenge this time was to scrap a memorable year and their Guest Designer this month is Stacy Cohen from Creating Keepsakes. I really love what Stacy does. I mean she crochets on her pages! How cool is that?
I scrapped 2008 which was for me such a rollercoaster of a year. It started by me having a baby and ended by me loosing my father. Again I am loving covering up a heart with lots of flowers. I had some transparancy from Fancy Pants which I was not too keen on as the print was too bold and too large for my liking so I punched out a butterfly from it to keep the color but also adding some texture to the page. I am still loving using the negatives from my punched out butterflies!
