You and Me

So I managed to flash scrap this one over two days in between my 2 week old's naps! I had forgotten how much newborns sleep but in short bursts. The problem with that is one never knows how much time one has so I basically just stuck stuff on really quickly and used punches I had handy. If I went to dig out the punches I REALLY wanted then it might wake the baby up. I did not want to risk that!!!
The layout was done for a challenge over at Bird is the Word. I really love this challenge blog and was keen to do a layout using this picture of me and a good friend when I saw they were running a challenge called "you and me". The layout did not come out as I expected which did not surprise me as my flash scrap method seldomly produces LOs which I am 100% happy with. However, in the words of the great Ali Edwards: " embrace imperfection!" I am one of those people who if gone too long without creating something gets grumpy so in doing this LO I managed to put off my grumpy mood off for a few days!
I did use my new Studio Calico "&" template which I am really happy with!!! I used Basic Grey papers and fibers for this one
