Messing about in the Garden
Scrap Fit is another challenge blog I enjoy. The challenge they have on at the moment calls for circles. This layout I completed using circles for the trees. At first I was going to make some trees out of patterned paper but then I decided to make it out of circles and the trunk out of Starbucks stirrers! I painted them with Tim Hotlz crackle paint which I really enjoyed the effect it gave. I made the grass using my new die cut from Magnolia.
The papers and embellishments are from the Green at Heart range from Basic Grey. I recently got loads of new packs of patterened paper so I am trying to use some of my older stuff... For the title I used a wooden tag that came with one of my daughter's dresses. My father loved "messing about in the garden" as he so put it!!!
