Xeroxinha

I love the challenges over at Merly Impressions! I always find them very original and fun to follow. They also give a lot of freedom which I love so even though we are super busy buying a new house I squeezed in sometime to make this one for this month's challenge!
In the past 3-4 months I find myself gravitating to using less and less cardstock as the basis for my layouts. There are so many subtle patterned papers out there at the moment which lend themselves perfectly for backgrounds. I love all the woodgrain papers! There are so many different ones!

This layout I wanted to keep it soft and feminine. The title XEROXINHA used to be my nickname given to me by my father as I was very much like him.  This nickname is now my daughter's nickname so this layout is all about how she is so much like me! There is a lot to document so I put my journalling into a pocket

Thanks for Looking!!!
